Sedum morganianum grows long trailing stems of small glaucus blue/green leaves. Initially the young stems grow upwards, then as they grow they grow over the pot and hang down.

Plant Details and Care

Long trailing stems of small glaucus blue/green leaves. Initially the young stems grow upwards, then as they grow they grow over the pot and hang down.
(Also sometimes known as Burro’s Tail or Donkey’s Tail.)
Size: The long hanging stems can grow very long, in some cases up to 1 metre long.
Leaves: Pale glaucus blue/green fat pointed leaves on long trailing stems. As they grow the stems hang down over the side of the pot.
Flowers: Sprays of tiny dark red star flowers.
Growing site: Indoors as a houseplant near a window with good light, ideal for hanging in a large window.
Hardiness: Not hardy.
Toxicity: Not especially toxic, but can be mildly toxic to children or pets.
